Ballet sea shell tiered cake

My first fondant cake and design!!! 6 & 10-in. tiered cake frosted in buttercream. Top tier covered in pearl candy, which I started adding a few at a time from my hand, then was unsatisfied, so I pulled them out of icing, smoothed over, and applied one at a time.
I made slippers from a gum paste sole.. let dry for 15-30 minutes and the applied a top fondant slipper part I cut out using Mel by Sugar and Spice tutorial I purchased online. I couldn’t have done it w/o it.. but I had to adjust and did add white chocolate to support the skewer to make the slippers besides the fondant glue. Mel suggested the chocolate in an email for extra support.
I made them too large the first time, I needed to downsize the pattern and made it too thin, so I decided on my own to use GP for the sole. I am used to using inches or American measurements, so I had to google mm.
In the photo the fondant looked much thicker, and when I rolled it out 16mm, It was entirely too thin to stand up and support… so I did about 1/8 inch instead of 1/16 inch like it called for.
I cut out petals w/ an 8-petal flower cutter and cut into 1/4’s, so each piece had two petals. NOW, I used the little ball tool to roll out over 150 pieces very thin over the entire piece for the petal look . This took as much time almost as doing the slippers twice! I did darker tone at the bottom and 3 different tone in all, which you really can’t tell from the pic. I needed to go a smidge lighter on the top layer.
Name was pressed out of fondant w/ toothpicks for skewers, edges piped in BC and gold edible paint on edges. White chocolate sea shells I made for mint molds and brushed w/ gold edible paint.
Added white pearls last and brushed w/ pearl paint on top. Also shimmer pearl paint on outside of ballet slipper. Added ballet ties in fondant before shells and pearls were added.
WELL…. It was an experience, and it shows how much time you cake artists put into these cakes.. I had some other BC cake orders but this one kept me up anytime from 4am-6am for 3 nights… which is usual for me when I have a lot of orders, but not with this number of cake orders…
BUT, it was worth every hour when I saw the look on the 15 year old face!
I’ll take any tips you can give me, and any tutorials you think I need to start out with some more fondant work…
Thanks so much friends!!! :)

Thank you SO much.. it took so many hours, but I didn’t want to make a mess, so I took as much time as I could! :)
