I made this cake for Super Cake Moms collaboration for Mother’s Day. I chose the crocus flower because it is the perfect flower to symbolize my momma. She is a beautiful woman who brings happiness to everyone without being flashy and showy. She doesn’t need all the “fluff” to be stunning. I didn’t have a tutorial for this flower so I made up my own way to make them. I really wanted to get the veins to look real as well as the typical white stems you normally see on the crocus. I wanted to keep the rest of the cake fairly simple so the flower would POP out, just as they do in the beginning of spring. Thanks for looking!
