Wasn’t going to upload this one to CD only because I don’t feel there is anything really special to say about it lol. But Dina of miettes told me she loves it so I thought I should upload it and besides, I do pin my cakes to Pinterest from CD so another good reason. These figures were pretty much done as simplistically as possible as the client originally wanted a different design but her son changed his mind last minute on the theme and so I had to make the figures as opposed to being able to use toy toppers, which affected the price significantly. To try to minimize the bump in price for my friend, I suggested a more simplistic style. She sent me a pic of a unmarked cake (see attached) that I used for inspiration. As you can see, I changed it a lot but I would still like to credit the original artist as it did help inspire my design. If anyone knows who it is, please let me know – thanks. I am using my airbrush a lot as you can probably tell but it is addictive. Oh and yeah, the top tier has THE sharpest edges I’ve ever gotten. So at least I’m super proud of that lol.
