Surfer girl cake for a 16th Birthday.

I wanted to design something fresh and a bit more grown up for this 16 year old young lady, so I drew inspiration from retro surf/Hawaiian t-shirt prints, rather than going with the usual blue-sea kind of design.

Hand painted tunnel wave backdrop and banner. Surfer modelled in gumpaste/sugarpaste. Hibiscus and Frangipani flowers.
