I had this cake in mind for a while but wasn’t quite sure what to use for the bottom tier.
In the end a photo I came across on the net of gold butterflies resting on a blue flower at night inspired me to use a bold black base . I think the contrast in colour is quite dramatic and was delighted how it turned out.
