Whilst spending my time resting after surgery 3 days ago… i just HAD to play. having not tried cake Lace before i made it my mission to have a play (whilst getting it in the neck from Hubby dear about not resting …oops)

I have to say Cake l=Lace is beautiful (if a little fiddly)… and i am very please with my finished piece of work.

Coloured peach to start, dusted with edible dusts and then cake lace strategically placed and then painted purple.

The script writing has the word ‘LOVE’ written in several languages.

Roses and ribbon added to finish the look :)
