This cake was so much fun to design & make. The colours on the board represents the local wine club tie, hence why the main cake resembles a cask of wine – the name on the cask is a little ‘in’ joke between Chris and his wife, the ‘vintage’ is the year he was born and finally, the little model is Chris having just completed the London Marathon earlier this year. This is what I love about cake making – being able to create something so personal just for that individual – priceless x
