I made this display cake in 2010 for the wedding Issue Cake of Cake Central Magazine (Vol.I, issue 2). I had a great fun searching to combine different effects of texture, and to make a sugar lace without lace mold. And of course I felt very proud to have to make a cake for a magazine (it was my first time).
