Wafer Paper Butterflies cake

So wafer paper is the big rage at the moment – I just received mine – so had a play at making flowers…still a lot of practice to go. But instead I got a chance to make this. Pretty simple really…but sometimes ‘Less is More’! :)
Not the best photography and I was not sure which photo to use as the main one – do have a look at the second photo – I put a black background to show the 2 floating butterflies on the rose…they are just stuck together.
There will be lots more butterflies coming up for sure….
PS: Butterflies are wafer paper cut out with a punch and the rose is gumpaste.
