This cake was for a first anniversary open house for a friend’s small jewelry business. Flavors: Blueberry Citrus w/ Cream Cheese BC filling; WASC w/ Strawberry ganache & fresh strawberries filling; Chocolate w/ chocolate Moose filling; all covered with BC w/ a hint of Coconut.
Everything is edible. The tea cup is poured white chocolate filled with Chocolate Moose. The silverware pieces (she makes beautiful ‘spoon’ jewelry) is gumpaste from molds that I hand-made from some of my own old silverware and airbrushed with silver luster dust. The bent fork on the topper represents my favorite piece that she makes (she attaches small charms to the loops made from the fork tines & makes a necklace or pin – so adorable!)
I loved creating this cake – I don’t always get the chance at free licensing with a design, color, flavors, etc. Thanks for all the great ideas I got from my CD friends!
