Sculpted vanilla sponge with whipped vanilla buttercream on a custom-made board to give the illusion that the wheels are load-bearing. Decorated to look like Ivor the Engine, a popular Welsh childrens’ cartoon in the 1960s and 70s, with edible sugarpaste models of Jones the Steam and Idris the Dragon. Completely edible, apart from Jones’ glasses! Really enjoyed making this one, but massively underestimated how long it would take! Happy 45th Birthday Andrew!
