This cake was ordered for a gentleman’s 60th surprise birthday party. He is a well known riding instructor/horseman who lives locally to me. He spent his younger days eventing even qualifying for the prestigious Badminton horse trials. The top tier of the cake is hand painted in cocoa butter with varying eventing scenes. The bottom tier is dressed as a Dressage coat. Sitting on top of the cake is the gentleman relaxing with his dogs after a day horse riding.
