My family has no special festivities to celebrate prior to Easter, so I had started working on the design for my Easter cake. However once I had the design on paper my hands itched to execute it in sugar and so I ended up doing my ‘Easter cake’ two months in advance. Obviously I will have to come up with something else for Easter!!!

The story behind this design is that of a bunny who loved to dig tunnels in fields to find carrots but instead he found himself in a nearby garden where an Easter egg hunt was underway!!! He ended up with a stomachache due to the enormous amount of chocolate he ate!!

For the bunny I followed the tutorial by Carol Deacon on Cake Decoration Magazine (March 1996 issue).
