A cake I made for Cake Central Magazine’s Dec 2013 Issue (Vol 4, Issue 12). The theme they gave me was “Holiday Wedding, Birds & Bows” along with an inspiration photo of a silhouette of a reindeer. Cake is decorated in fondant and the birdcages are made of gumpaste. The birdcage topper is free standing and the most difficult, complicated, nerving, what-was-I-thinking structure I have ever built – I was in tears over it but alas, it came together in the end.
