This holiday wedding cake was designed to incorporate a theme of rosemaling and birds. The tiers were covered with fondant using the panel method as demonstrated by Marina Sousa in her “Advanced Fondant Techniques” class. The Rosemaling design was hand painted with royal icing. The leaves and berries were made following Maggie Austin’s class “Sugar Berries, Leaves & Blossoms”.
