Berna García / Ilusiona Cakes

Hi, I’m Bern García, born in Venezuela and canaries parents, I’m graphic designer and cake designer since 2008. My beginnings in this sweet world have been as many as a hobby, making cakes for friends and family and thanks to my studies, I could fit me in sugarcraft on Spain.

I have won several contests of cakes decorated of the most recognized events of sugarcraft in Spain: Expotarta 2012 and 2013, Sugar’09 2011 and 2012, also I have obtained the first Award in Creative Zaragoza 2012 and third in the first wedding cakes contest organized by the Association of Cakes in Madrid in 2012.

I’ve always been self-taught and most of my training on sugarcraft I owe to Internet and a lot of hours of practice, also I have received training from top professionals as Alan Dunn (England), Molly (Italy), Chapix Cookies (Mexico), Carlos LISCHETTI (Argentina) and Loleta Linares (Spain), all of them very well known in Spain and the world.
