I'm a hobby baker, making for friends and family, which fills in some time now I'm retired. Have always made birthday cakes for my children but now I'm getting a bit more adventurous! Looking forward to making my first 3-tier wedding cake so have been practising flowers for the first time.
The picture I have chosen for my profile is the cake that started it all really - my son asked me to make his wedding cake - a carrot one. I didn't realise what I was taking on but managed it, albeit those flowers are not real. Now of course I would be making all those flowers from sugar!
