Coffee Break

Corona Virus

Hey all, I hope you are all well.

Here in Slovakia, we are in emergency mode – all schools, bars, shopping centers are closed to prevent the virus from spreading. Fortunately, we don’t have lot of confirmed cases so far, but the precedence in other countries is scary.

Take care!

The situation here in UK is getting worse little by little yet everything is still operational as normal. I fear especially for the children who are at risk in schools 😞

In my province, Ontario, in Canada 🇨🇦 we’re in total lockdown. Schools, churches, recreational facilities, buffet restaurants, indoor play gyms, on and on, closed for 3 weeks. Most other parts of Canada is the same. We have 10 new cases diagnosed today in our area. Going to be hard for all the parents with kids home for such a long time. Especially trying to find childcare. Many grandparents probably helping out.

June → I think that If we would like to beat the virus, we should all stay at home for 14 days. It’s better little discomfort for 2 weeks than total collapse of the health-care system and hundreds of deads like in Italy.

Hi dear all!
In Italy the situation is dramatic!
My area, Lombardy, is hitted the most. Hospital’s Emergency Rooms and intensive care departments are collapsing.
Care equipment is starting to run low.
Doctors and nurses are exhausted, but they still keep on working clock around, all over the hospitals!
There are two infected persons in my village too.
I’m fine, right now, but who knows?
We all, in Italy, are not allowed to go outside, except for procuring food or medicines, or for health emergencies. Schools, restaurants, cafes, every kind of stores (except grocery stores, pharmacies and other ones needed to survive and services as bus, taxies or train) are closed until March 25 (April 3 for schools). Any kind of public event is forbidden!
We all are trying to stay safe in our houses.
I hope Italian and Chinese patterns will be helpful for all other countries, all over the world, even despite all mistakes made by unpreparedness.
I wish you all not to experience something like this…
Take care and keep safe!
Love and hugs to all!

Clara

I am in central CA. Many places are starting to close…….schools (daughter’s for 1 week; others until end of April); stores are cutting their hours; my church held services today and expect to next week but others didn’t. I’m in a public library right now but was told they expect to be told to close at anytime. Stores have more empty shelves than I have ever seen. I’m thinking of seeing if the movie theater is open a bit latter today. I have a feeling they are. Folks….put your trust in God!! He knows all about this situation. He wants you to trust him — now and always!

Michal: I totally agree that everyone has to sacrifice a little. Staying indoors, not mingling with the public is the only way to protect ourselves and others. I am a bit worried about Canadians who decided to travel for the March school break, which is next week. Government is going to enforce travellers to self isolate for 14 days when they come home. Literally that last group of coronavirus cases came from Canadians who were in the USA on either business or vacation. Or Americans coming to Canada for business/vacation. Our federal government is seriously considering closing our borders from the USA into Canada. Unprecedented, and drastic for sure, but maybe totally necessary.
Clara: I have been praying about this whole situation, but especially the poor hard hit people of Italy. The numbers keep growing. I know like China, eventually, the cases will drop with all the self isolation. Keep strong and know we are praying for you and thinking of you.
kakeladi/lynne: My church decided to close. But the service, including worship songs AND a adult baptism was live streamed on YouTube. Well over 275 people watched the service. Trust the Lord.
Faith not Fear…❤️🙏🙏❤️
