I am a home based cake company. I make bespoke cakes using local free range eggs, local wind milled flour and handmade butter. I enjoy all different cake decorating techniques, but absolutely love hand painting cakes. I have recently started using practising with chocolate - modelling chocolate, ganache, chocolate transfers and must admit not only is it great to work with, but the smell is divine :) I really enjoy some of the challenges set by customers, but get so carried away when I have free reign on a family cake!!! As yet, I do not seem to have found my own style - one day I will be making a carved novelty cake and the next will be delicate flowers. I believe that no matter how long you have been making cakes or how much experience you have, there is always something new to learn - so bring on the next challenge :)
