Threadcakes entry 2015 - Where is the Rainbow

I made this cake for Threadcakes 2015; a cake contest based on a Threadless cake design. I chose this panda design while I was looking through the amazing Threadless designs, I’ve been wanting to make a sculpted animal cake and this design had the elements I wanted to make in a cake. Sculpted, gravity defying, animal and painted cake.

Rules are we have to bake our own cake and post pictures of the entire process. Results are out mid December. Wish me luck!
