Taj Mahal cake tutorial

1. Taj Mahal is all about symmetry. Plan the size of the cake you are making and create the templates A and B using a cardboard.

2. Roll the white fondant and Cut 4 * A and 4* B shapes using the template.
Let the figure dry. It took me over two weeks for the fondant to dry. Tip: Use some extra CMC or Tylose powder

3. Make the domes. I made the small domes using fondant and the big one is Styrofoam covered in fondant. You can use rice krispies instead of styrofoam to make it completely edible.
Add details with royal icing.

4.Make four turrets. I made this by covering tea bubble straw with fondant. Also inserted a bamboo bbq stick inside the straw so that I can attach it to the cake board.

5. Bake two square cakes. Ganache it and cut the edges like in next picture

6.Cut the four edges and cover the cake with fondant

7.Attach each of the dried figures A and B using edible glue/ Royal icing/white chocolate.

8. Paint the inner fondant layer using edible marker/ edible paint

9. Place the figures accordingly

10. Add some details using paint/ royal icing
