When I was first starting out the end of 2012 I was in awe of the talent on these pages.
I started my “let the cakey adventure begin” and guess what it began.
Just starting out I needed profile pictures I needed customers and I charged ridiculous prices “£20 for a 3 tier Spider-Man cake 😱”
2 years on I can safely say I have many valued customers a wide variety of cakes "which I need to upload "
I stepped away from cakes decor as just starting out nothing happens fast “I don’t deal with slow easy lol” but patience has paid off 😉
What have I learned in this time?
I’ve learned I need every cake tool going lol (NO!) that’s just me a clepta maniac haha
I realised with every cake order comes the chance to try a new toy be it a tool, colour, mix, flavour, design or mat,and with that in mind my cake supplies have considerably grown to two full double wardrobes with containers galore and under stairs cupboard converted purely for me and even designated kitchen cupboards and fridge just for me 😜
I live designing cakes for people my sketched may not be Picasso paintings but they work for me and putting it down in paper seems to make the bringing it all together so much more easy
The one thing that has helped me beyond everything is a fabulous supplier that I’ve used for every cake 😘 Tom Anderson Supplier UK his prices are fab and the customer service goes beyond anything I could imagine.
