Writing and Publishing a cake book

Hi everyone, I’m Zoe from Zoe’s Fancy cakes.

I really wanted to ask everyone what they thought to the idea of me creating a cake decorating book.
Is it something people would be interested in? Would you find it useful and what kind of things would people like to see me put in the book?

I know quite a few of my Facebook followers from various countries who are too far to attend my classes have expressed an interest in a book, but I wanted to ask a bit wider to see if my book is going to have enough potential customers.

I have only been making cakes full time since January and so haven’t yet got the following of people who have been going a bit longer and are a bit more established than myself, but I’m hoping that by the time I complete a book I will have more people who are aware of my work.

I’ve put below some photos of some of my work that I thought could possibly feature in the book (this is just a small sample – but feel through to look through all my work for your favourites).

I would say I specialise in the little models so if I were deciding what went in it, I would largely base it around this, but I would rather fill the book with projects that I know potential customers would like to learn.

I would be really grateful for any feedback from you on what you think, what you would like to see in a book, or even if you don’t think a book is a good idea.

Also if anyone has any experience of writing and publishing a book and would mind giving me some advice, I would be very grateful :)
