Here is a quick tip sheet I created for making octagon cutouts using a basic square cutter as seen on the bottom tier of the cake I made recently for my sis’ birthday. I’m sure others have already thought of this or could have easily come up with this themselves, and for others it may be obvious, but I thought I’d share for any of those it might be helpful for (and like me do not have octagon cutters readily available).
