I am Catalina Anghel, passionate about medicine, books and flowers, cake decorator and sugarcraft artist specialized in sugar flowers. I have always loved the world of creative baking, and for a few years it has become my profession. I have started out of pure curiosity and this passion has been transformed into necessity – like an addiction. Without my flowers I don't know how to live.

I have my own unique working method that I have developed over the last seven years: I work freely formed, without using templates or special cutters for flowers. Sometimes I work even without veiners. I love decorating cakes- modeling figures, carving, working with different textures. But above all I love to decorate with flowers - in arrangements, buquets, alone...

I am dedicated to teaching sugar flowers all over the world: Spain, France, Hong Kong, Dubai, Switzerland, Germany, Romania, Chile, Holland...
My works have been published in different prestigious specialty magazines: Pasteles de Ensueño, De Cakes, UNSA Magazine, Cake Central Magazine, Cake Masters Magazine, American cake Decorating Magazine, Sugar Magazine India...
Awards winning in several cake decorating events, Global Sugar Artists Network Rising Star award winner in 2018, finalist for Sugar Flowers category Cake Masters Awards 2019, I enjoy "flowering" – when I do it I lose the notion of time, forget about hunger and tiredness... I spend hours and hours in my study working frantically on new flowers, on improving and learning more every day. I'm lucky to have a job that I love- fuyll time sugar florist and instructor. Teaching is what I like the most. I love seeing the expression of joy on the faces of the students as they manage to make delicate flowers themselves with their own hands.

I hope you will like this space, that you will find in it the advice and support you are looking for and that I manage to "infect" you with a little bit of my passion for sugar flowers.

Huge extra-sweet hugs

Catalina
