I created this cake for a wedding which took place on Saturday and I loved it! The extended central tier measured over 10" in height and the surface had to be flawless. This ‘nowhere to hide’ style is one of the most difficult to get right (in my humble opinion!) as no decoration can be used to disguise blemishes.

Everything on the cake was created in flower paste and this was the first time I’d worked on David Austin-style roses. This cake took sooooo many days/hours to make but I was delighted with the result. Hope you all like it too x

stunning…. festive elegance and love the purity!!!

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

I totally agree about “naked” has to be flawless.. and yes it is the most difficult to achieve… I am still trying to get my sharp edges before I even get a flawless look :-)
This cake is just AMAZING; I love this look!!
