I messed up the figure a little when I dusted it, I had used Crisco to smooth out some crinkles in the gumpaste and it seems the petal dust adheres to those areas differently, causing some unsightly smudges to appear. I tried to fix it with a clean brush and some vodka. The figue wasn’t completely dry when I took the pictures so hopefully the shine will eventually go away. The figure was meant as a keepsake.
