I made this cake last week, it was my very first ombre ruffle cake. It took me a little time to get the ruffling right but it turned out great, I was so pleased with the end result. I have only been cake decorating for just over a year and I am now starting to enjoy trying new things and moving out of my comfort zone. It was for an 80th Birthday and the customer absolutely loved it.. she refused to cut it until everyone had seen it :)
I think the lily complements it beautifully.
