ARRRRRRR, Mateys! Behold the wicked coolness!

Anyone who knows me, says that when they see skulls they think of me! I am skull-crazy! So when my client asked me to do this cake I was beyond thrilled. I stayed true to the original, so she would be pleased, but I added in my own touches. One thing I added was the black ivy. The original just had flowers on it, & I felt it needed some foliage to fill it out.

The cake is Vanilla- Almond – Amaretto, with actual FUDGE as the filling. Not icing, real fudge! Iced with milk chocolate Kahlua ganache & finished with my own homemade fondant. Flowers are gumpaste & leaves are fondant. The beads are Sixlet candies.

This cake is NOT an original design. There are many like it floating around on the internet, so I cannot for the life of me find out who the original artist was to credit them. If you know, let me know! It is a brilliant design! I had the time of my life re-creating it! I want to airbrush everything now. Even my cat isn’t safe! LOL!
