This cake was for the son of a good friend and the decoration needed to be fairly robust as they were collecting the cake to take to the venue themselves. So I went for my usual flowers and added swags of fine beads rather than piping. The gems are my first adventure with Isomalt which I thoroughly enjoyed! :-)
