Having only started cake decorating in late July (aka 2 months ago!) this is my most recent creation, for my partner’s nephew’s 1st birthday. I had a few learning troubles, but still feel pleased with the end result!

This is a chocolate cake, 8" on the bottom layer, 6" on the top, covered in white fondant and finished with a light blue diamond pattern, red royal icing stitch piping, sugar elephant and his name on a plaque. I also made a whole batch of cookies to match!
