The Zagara, the Sicilian flower par excellence, is the fragant blossom of the citrus trees; the word Zagara derives from Arab terms “zahara” (to shine) and “zahr” (flower)..
I hand made the Zagara flowers with Sugar Flower Paste after observing the blossoming of a small lemon tree in my terrace in Palermo. And I hung up the sugar flowers at my tree for taking some photos …you can see it! :)
