A friend asked me to make a cake for one of her colleague’s birthday. The briefing was, well, brief! – she loved her job and she was responsible for the ante-natal preparation session at the local hospital.
Not having been given anything else apart from the birthday lady’s name and that it needed to feed 20 to 24 people, I decided that I needed something light, seeing that I would be placing very pregnant characters on top of this cake. The result was this fun mixture of positions (including some swollen ankles, feet and hands). I had great fun doing this!!!
