I designed this wedding cake for a wedding showcase in August. I still love the ruffles in wedding cakes, but decided to do a different spin on them. The top and third tiers were silver with a silver sheen airbrushed and left plain to allow the bottom tier to take all of the glory.
I also love the varied tier heights…I think this adds a lovely subtle difference to wedding cakes at the moment.
