Here is a part of a South African Cake I did a short while ago… its the Kind Protea which is the national flower of South Africa and you can find these growing on top of Table Mountain, where I have been and photographed these magnificent flowers… it is very large as you can see here where my husband is holding it. There is no reference on how to make this and I had to wing it by looking at my photographs, so some artistic license was used as well :) I will be doing a tutorial on this flower at some stage.
