After making Talia’s 13th birthday cake last August I was so very touched and honored to be asked to help in paying tribute to her life on the date of her 14th birthday. Although she gained her wings in July we all felt she was there with us as we honored her life and accomplishments. Before she passed Talia had asked for a Paris themed birthday cake which you all know is a very special theme in my heart. With a Marie Antoinette inspiration this cake features Talia’s favorite colors, with playful ruffles, eclectic and quirky elements, her little doggy Bella, and a hunters moon behind the Eiffel Tower. Talia wanted to pull an all nighter one day and there is no better place to do that than Paris. Along with the cake I served over 1300 mini cupcakes to the guests at her tribute event and prepared a carrot cake for her family to take home and enjoy. A labor of love made as a gift with all of my heart, respect, admiration and loyalty to Talia and her beautiful family.
