Peony Rose

This is my first completed peony. I’ve made a few attempts in the past but just couldn’t get it right. Quite happy with this one though and used it on my mother’s birthday cake.

that’s lovely! I am struggling with my first attempt! I don’t want to put a styrofoam ball so using a gum paste ball and it is way too heavy to hang upside down….just exasperated….you did a wonderful job

Thanks smitam. You could try an open flower like this one using made stamens instead of a fondant ball.
