My mum passed away on the 14th of July 2000. She was an amazing gardener and my love of roses and peonies comes from her as these were her favourites. Mum passed at a young age of 54. I started playing with sugar around 2009 9 years after she had gone. I wanted to make something special on her death day and as mum loves this particular rose I thought I had better give it a go!
Lisa, followed the making of this rose and it is truly gorgeous! What a sweet thing you did for your mom!

As you know roses are my favourite flowers and I love making them but I can truly say that this is the most beautiful rose I have seen. The form is perfect. So special!
