I used Alison Lawson’s squiggles design to do this dome-shaped cake. Ever since I saw one of her cakes, I fell in love with the design and wanted to make my own.She has a tutorial here:

This is a light chocolate fondant cake with a Lindt 70% chocolate ganache/buttercream mix, covered with fondant. The cross design is my own :-)

Love it Dina! So fresh and unique! I love that it is not a traditional shape that you see all the time! Love this squiggles design. I might have to try it out sometime!

Toni, thank you so much! It is not difficult at all but extremely time consuming depending on the size of the cake. The challenge on this dome-shaped cake was to make sure all the squiggles fit right :-)
