My Lucks Dena Designs Edible Image submission (and winner!!! YAY!) A trio of cakes to highlight the different applications I used for the edible image sheets.
I was only going to create the green cake but had more ideas for how to use the edible images, but using them all on one cake would have been too cluttered and confusing. So the main cake got two sisters :)
The hydrangeas were difficult to assemble but very rewarding when completed. The veining was part of the cutter I used and the random gilding along the veins was done by flooding the very center of the flower and allowing the gold to wick down the channels.

They are beautiful! Congrats!
Stunning and congratulations! May I ask do you attach the image sheets to gumpaste or just use them as they are? Thanks so much! :)

Thank you everyone :)
Kerri, some of them were combined with gumpaste (the two smaller cakes used that technique exclusively) and many parts of the spray were straight edible image with no gumpaste backing (like the center dahlia).
I may create a tutorial on using the edible images this way.
