This is a cake I made a couple of weeks back. It’s design is pretty simple because it was for a little girl who had a brain tumour as a baby and was not supposed to live past 9 months old. This is her 5th birthday cake!! Due to the tumour she is now almost blind but can see bright colours and contrasts, so we decided to go with neon stars on a stark black background in order to give it brightness and contrast and the little girl the best chance of seeing it.
