I have been working on some roses for my cakes. These were made using a combination of methods, the easy rose method for the bud and first petals then the Ciccio cakes tutorial for the outer petals.
The roses were dusted with pink while the petals were drying then the outer petals dusted with a brighter pink to lift them. A big thanks to Jo from Ciccio cakes who showed me this method.
