I made this mac, I mean cake, :) for my daughter’s 30th birthday. She is a big pasta lover. Everything was edible. Pasta was fondant, spoon was gumpaste, pot holders were fondant. It fooled a lot of people at the party! It was chocolate pound cake layers and choc ganache.

So amazing! How did you make the noodles look so covered in cheese sauce? Really great cake! I’m getting hungry..

Thank you for the comments! For the noodles, I rolled long snakes of light yellow fondant, cut them to noodle size and with my rounded fondant tool I pushed the ends in a little bit. Then I curved them slightly and let them sit a day or so. When I put them on my cake, I brushed them with yellow buttercream that I had thinned down and I had added some corn syrup to make it shiny! Hope this helps! Good luck!
