. Here is one of my Favourite cakes I hand painted entirely freehand onto fondant icing Buzz on top is free hand painting as is Woody on the board itself.

OH What joy it brought me to do this for my grandson who lived and breathed Buzz every day. His little eyes shone so brightly when he saw his cake I made for him. Delicious chocolate inside :)

The last picture is the matching T-shirt I hand painted for him too, which he wore on his birthday as well

Thank you all so much you super-talented people!!! …!!!! <3 xxx

Paul: I found (working with other artists) that each artist likes different brushes, so maybe try different styles of brushes (flat, pointed, long short, rounded, sable, teflon etc) you need to find one that suits you as you an artist too.. ;)

Wow as always Calli! My husband is a Beaver Scout leader and his colony name is Buzz – he would love this!

Not easy to hand paint on cake as yo cannot rest your hand on it. Excellent. Yes my son was like that too. I have a photo of him with his toy story Clan all lined up together with him sitting watchinig toy story when he was about 4. He used to draw buzz over and over like a photo copy machine then he changed to drawing zurg repeatedly. Now after using all the trees in the rain forest for the first half or his life he does not draw as he says it is boring,
