For the first time in years, I spent Christmas with both my daughters. It was wonderful to be all together and my oldest daughter had her heart set on decorating Christmas cookies as a family. So we got to baking before my youngest daughter joined us.  When we were all together, I made a batch of Royal icing, made icing bags and they started decorating. Even my son-in-law decorated a few. This was the first time any of them worked with royal icing or decorated. I think they did a great job.
