Getting ready for my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday next month. Flowers were done without cutters so it took a little bit longer. Used templates provided in the back of Alan Dunn’s Sugarcraft Flower Arranging. Only used cutters for the rose leaves. Used for edible varnish light corn syrup diluted with vodka.
WOW!!! Lovely!! So real!!! great job!! xx

Fantastic Goreti…. flowers are just beautiful :o)

These are beautiful, Goreti! I could have used you today while making a cake. I just made old crummy butter cream roses and they could have turned out better than they did. Oh well….
Thanks everyone for your comments. Linda, I’m sure your cake came out beautiful. It always does. I’ve been working on these flowers for awhile. At first I wasn’t too happy but now that they are all done I’m happy with them. Hopefully they will survive till next month cause I already broke one (but you can’t really tell—shh).
You have so much patience, Goreti. I think that’s why I hate making those darn gum paste flowers. I want them done NOW! Not to mention, I break so many of them too. That’s frustrating!
Gorgeous!! :)
