I haven’t been doing very many cakes lately so haven’t had much of anything to post until now. My little granddaughter just turned 5. For the past 3 years as it gets closer to her birthday she & I will start looking at cakes to get an idea of what kind of cake she wants for her birthday. This is what she picked for this year’s cake. I stress this IS NOT my design & do not know the name of the person to give them credit. All I can say is even though my interpretation is fairly decent it doesn’t hold a candle to the “inspiration cake”. Cake is 7" vanilla covered in vanilla buttercream & fondant. Decorations are fondant roses, piped buttercream decorations, sprinkles, & edible wafer paper butterflies. Face was done with edible markers & number 5 was made with modeling chocolate.
