Made this small wedding cake for my nephew’s belated wedding celebration among family. They just had a ceremony at home because of Covid, in another state. Now he came to visit with his new wife so we can meet her. His mother (my sister) and I thought it would be nice to give them the celebration they didn’t have. This was a last minute cak,. just had two days to bake and decorate! It’s a small one, 7 inch cake on top of a 9 inch cake. Top tier is sugar free chocolate covered in sugar free chocolate frosting (wife is diabetic) then covered in fondant. Bottom tier is also sugar free but it’s a pound cake covered in fondant. Even though I didn’t have much time, I’m pleased the way it turned out. Didn’t have time to make flowers, fortunately I had flowers that I had bought, left over from another cake.
