This is a 7” tall chocolate truffle cake , frosted with colored ganache in grey and red. I used gel colors to color my ganache.
This styling is inspired from some Instagram posts by various cake artists.
For the first time I learnt how to use wafer paper by cutting it and folding it in an innovative and unique way other than making flowers and leaves.
This cake was designed for a young girl who’s is fascinated by Japan. So I used origami styling to give her a Japanese inspired cake. The cake turned out exactly how I envisioned it. I am truly happy with the end result.
