I am Umme Kulsum. I am a self taught cake artist.I completed my MSS in Economics from Bangladesh National University. I started my cake decorating as a hobby. I made cakes & cupcakes for my daughter.My husband & daughter always inspire me.I am from Bangladesh & now live in Botswana.I am passionate about my work & especially love to make figurines. I have done few International Collaboration.

This piece is inspired from a fired clay pot originating from the Igbo people of Nigeria. These were used in the 10th century. Additional decorations, such as extra shapes or inscribed patterns, are added once the pot has dried. Once decorations are complete, the vessel goes through the firing process.
